Theme and Scripture for 2012
"Trust, Surrender, Believe, Receive"
Through the speaker at the first four meetings, the women will be led to consider these four states, and then we will build up to what trust and dependence on God can do for each of us.
Proverbs 3: 5-6 NIV “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.”

Very sadly our much loved new President, Angela Turner, passed away suddenly on 5 April. Deacon Dave Marshall led us in prayer as we remembered Angela and paid tribute to her at this meeting.

"Make a Joyful Noise Unto the Lord"
Psalm 100 (NIV)
Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth. Worship the LORD with gladness; come before him with joyful songs. Know that the LORD is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the LORD is good and his love endures for ever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.
